New hood is on!

Yesterday evening I headed over to the body shop and we were able to slap on my new hood! I think it turned out great. I'm very excited about the new and unique mod.

Bling bling

I was finally sick of looking at my dirty, dingy paint, so yesterday evening I spent roughly 4 hours cleaning it.

3. applied Meguiar's Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner with orbital buffer


4. applied Meguiar's Mirror Glaze polish with orbital buffer


5. applied Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax by hand





It looks a million times better, even though the top side of the car (hood, trunk, roof) seems to have some clearcoat damage, probably from some sort of "acid rain" making it look like permanent water spots.

But we don't employ children here. We're not a sweatshop. Thank God!

Man, I love The Office (US version). I'm currently lounging and relaxing, watching Season 2 of The Office. I have other things I should be doing, but I certainly would much rather do this. I raked and bagged leaves all morning, so I deserve it, right?

IE 7?

I've got to be honest with you. I've been a huge Firefox fan for quite some time. And, even more honestly, I'm really enjoying Internet Explorer 7. The simple layout of the tools and buttons along with the smooth font display make for an incredible look and feel. I was originally impressed by the speed and performance of Firefox 2, but I must say, IE 7 is keeping up with it.

The ONLY issue I've had so far is with my Google homepage (www.google.com/ig/). For some reason I have to log in every time I open IE. I've even allowed the URL to store cookies according to the Security settings, but it doesn't seem to help.
